At IFSEC 2014 the ASSA ABLOY team showcased a wide variety of new and innovative access control products on their stand.

New products were announced by ASSA ABLOY Aperio™, Yale, Abloy, Traka, effeff, Mul-T-lock, including:

  • Aperio™ Wireless Technology showcased their the new high speed V3 platform along with a range of other products. Damian Marsh, Managing Director UKMEA, Access Control Solutions explained how their technology “seamless integrates mechanical locks into new and existing lock systems, making it both simple and cost-effective” with OEM partners such as G4S, Gallagher, ACS and TDSI making Aperio “the most commonly available Access Control system globally”
  • ASSA ABLOY One System was presented for the first time in the UK by Harald Stol, Regional Sales Manager effeff & IKON, who explained One System’s modular solution of mechanical and electro-mechanical locks.
  • Effeff demonstrated their complete range of electric strikes, including the 8037 strike lock and escape lock technology solutions.
  • ABLOY UK presented their market-leading range of electric locking solutions, as well as ABLOY CLIQ Remote and the new E-CLIQ electronic key system. In addition Abloy UK have recently “opened our new Abloy London showroom at Tottenham Court Road” says Pip Corcoux, Sales & Product Manager CLIQ Systems
  • Mul-T-Lock presented SMARTair Genesis, a modular and fully scalable system that allows flexible and wire free access control and WatchLock, the high security intelligent padlock featuring real-time locating system and usage notifications. Kevin Menzies, Sales Manager Mul-T-Lock UK
  • Yale presented their vision for the future of residential and commercial security; introducing a new latest range of Digital Door Locks which can be integrated with home automation systems. As smart homes become more affordable to consumers, these products can “complete the circle of managing heating, lighting with security” says Tabitha Morton, Commercial Director, Digital Door Locks UK
  • Traka launched their new Traka21 at IFSEC “21st century key management solution that replaces the traditional key box or key press with touch screen technology” says Robert Smith, Managing Director of Traka, which proves “a complete audit trail of who has taken which key and when”. It is a standalone, affordable product aimed at the SME market. In addition, Traka were exhibiting their range of existing intelligent key and asset management cabinets and lockers.
