Fire Fighting Enterprises, whose product range includes FIRERAY beam detectors, Talentum Flame Detectors and Aviation Extinguishers, are now exhibiting at IFSEC Southeast Asia, currently underway in Malaysia.

We asked Tracy Kirk, the Hertfordshire-based company’s sales and marketing director, what’s in store between 3-5 September at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

IFSEC Global: Why is it important for you to attend IFSEC Southeast Asia?

Tracy Kirk: It is an ideal platform to launch our new products and promote brand loyalty. It gives our audience the opportunity to see and touch before buying.

IG: What are your main goals for the 2014 show?

TK: Relationships are our main focus and ultimately, we’re looking to meet new contacts and deepen our existing connections within the Fire industry.

IG: Can you briefly outline the solutions and Tracy Kirkproducts that will be showcased on your stand in September?

TK: This year we will be demonstrating the Talentum Series – our range of flame detectors. The range of detectors are designed for indoor or outdoor environments which require detection of a flame. Also on display will be our range of FIRERAY Optical Beam Smoke Detectors

IG: Are you targeting end users, installers/integrators or perhaps consultants this year, and what’s influencing your decision here?

TK: In addition to engaging with our existing customers, we will also be focusing on establishing deeper relationships with end-users by demonstrating the strength of our growing portfolio.

IG: Are you targeting any particular vertical sector at present? If so, why? What opportunities do you see emerging?

TK: The expansion in the local infrastructure, across Asia, is of great interest to us as we have many reference sites for these applications.

IG: What do you think is the most exciting theme currently happening in Southeast Asia?

The expansion in the local infrastructure, across Asia, is of great interest to us as we have many reference sites for these applications.

IG: What’s your company doing to promote the corporate social responsibility/green agenda?

Our company is proud to hold the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004 as well as OHSAS 18001 for Occupational Health and Safety Management.

IG: Do you participate in IFSEC shows located in other regions? If so, how do you find it beneficial to be involved in multiple regions?

We are also exhibiting at IFSEC & OSH Arabia as we believe in taking our products as close to these markets as possible.
