Have you formalised your fire-risk management systems? Are they inconsistent or just reactive throughout your organisation?
Enlisting the help of expert guest speakers Exova Warrington Certification Ltd will provide a template for a holistic and proactive approach to fire risk management at Hotel H10 London Waterloo on 3 December.
Managing fire risk is as important as built-in fire precautions, say the organisers – best practice is not beyond any organisation. This full day CPD seminar will take attendees through the A-Z of fire-risk management and offer practical solutions for the effective control of fire safety in any organisation.
The seminar is designed to appeal to anyone with a responsibility for fire safety management in the social housing, local authority, NHS, care home, school, university, social/public or private sectors .
The seminar has been awarded four hours CPD by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers.
In setting up the seminar the organisers hope to help prevent a repeat of the tragic Rosepark Care Home fire in 2004 in which 14 people lost their lives.
The fatal incident inquiry concluded that “the deficiencies in the management of fire safety at Rosepark contributed to the deaths in that a number of key circumstances would have been quite different if there had been an adequate system of fire safety management”.
Forty available places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.
Venue: Hotel H10 London Waterloo, 284 to 302 Waterloo Road, London, SE1 8RQ
