FIREX 2016: Hochiki Europe’s L@titude Control Panel and FIREscape Lite Emergency Lighting Concept

Hochiki Europe will showcase L@titude and FIREscape lite at FIREX International 2016 between 21-23 June at ExCeL London.

The international developer of life-safety systems will demo products and offer advice to both installers and responsible persons, including recent industry developments like the government’s BIM level 2 targets.

L@titude is a recently launched modular technology platform that detects incidents in real-time. It can be accessed from any location and fully customised to meet customer requirements. Both EN and UL versions will be on display at FIREX.

FIREscape lite, meanwhile, is an emergency lighting concept developed with smaller projects and refits in mind. Allowing FIREscape luminaires and exit signs to fraw power directly from a building’s main electricity supply through a transformer unit, FIREscape lite cuts energy costs and makes installation easier.

Other new products on display include:

  • CHQ-FTM, SIL-approved dual input module designed for the oil and gas industry
  • UL- and EN-approved duct detectors
  • A VESDA aspirating system, exclusive to UK customers
  • Hydrosense moisture detection system
  • Latest range of linear heat detectors

“This year we’ve continued our global expansion, opening a new branch office in India, and brought to market a number of brand new products on the leading-edge of life safety technology,” said Paul Adams, marketing manager at Hochiki Europe.

“FIREX International is a fantastic forum to engage with key players in our industry and discuss the issues affecting our sector.  We’re looking forward to the opportunity to meet and work with these industry leaders to ensure we’re always finding new ways to protect buildings and their occupants.”
