Hochiki Europe Opens New India Office in Response to Strong Demand

Hochiki Europe to Open New Office in India in Response to Strong DemandHochiki Europe has announced plans to open a new office in Delhi following the success of company’s life safety solutions in India.

The new office will be situated in Gurgaon, which is part of the Delhi NCR region, and will be used to drive sales and cater to demand for training services in India.

Although the new office will comprise six staff members initially, there are plans to expand the team down the line.

Through the new office Hochiki Europe plans to deliver a more personalised service to existing accounts and reduce delays in responding to technical queries, which were hitherto exacerbated by operating in different time zones.

“India is one of the world’s fastest growing world economies, meaning its approach to fire safety provisions is moving more in-line with worldwide regulatory standards,” said Rohit Harjani, India country manager at Hochiki Europe.

“This new office will help us continue to deliver reliable and easy to use solutions across India, with the help of our established network of sales managers.”

The announcement coincided with the successful completion of a fire safety installation at the Yamaha motorcycle factory in Chennai. Covering an area measuring 147,450m2 the factory was fitted with Photoelectric Smoke Sensors, Water-Proof Heat Detectors, Weather-Proof Sounders and Weather-Proof Manual Call Points from Hochiki Europe.
