IDIS and Swift Fire & Security Tie Up Partnership at IFSEC

If the sheer size of this year’s IFSEC conference told us anything, it was that the market is becoming highly competitive and companies must find new ways to give themselves a cutting edge.

This may well lead companies to seek strategic partnerships with others in the industry in order for them to stay ahead of their rivals.

IDIS plus Swift Fire and Security did just this by putting pen to paper on a long-term partnership agreement at this year’s conference and both parties are hoping the deal will lead to sustainable success moving forward.

Formed in 1982, Swift recently aimed to streamline the services they provide and were suitably impressed by IDIS’ DirectIP option which offers a range of services including cameras, monitors and network video recorders.

The simplicity of the DirectIP’s ‘plug and play installation’ system allows every element to implement a complete network surveillance solution.

IDIS Senior Manager Jamie Barnfield stressed the importance of such long term strategic partnerships. He said: “We were always keen to work with Swift as we definitely consider them a premier partner. Their presence in the UK is huge.

“The main aim of this partnership is longevity so we can continue to provide a quality service. With the size of the market only set to increase, if we are not providing a service for customers then somebody else will emerge and take our place.”

Paul Mather, Swift Fire and Security’s commercial director, also praised the support network provided by IDIS, adding: “We have been very impressed with the technical support and customer service that the IDIS team could provide.

“Having made our final decision to make DirectIP one of our network surveillance offerings, it made perfect sense to sign the official partnership agreement here at IFSEC, the home of security solutions.”
