IFSEC 2010: Runaway success for ISM and Intelligent Integration

Stephen Smith, sales and marketing director at ISM, said: “A record breaking number of visitors attended The Intelligent Integration Zone during the four days and it was clear to us from the outset that the calibre of each visitor was exceptional.

“We were engaged in some pretty intense dialogue with key decision-makers, actively seeking out The Intelligent Integration Zone on the strength of the pre-event publicity and their interest in Genesys, ISM’s patented security control management system.

“The level of visitor enthusiasm was gratifying too. For example, the head of technology from a global security group spent hours talking to us, exploring how their systems could be integrated using Genesys.

“It was this genuine interest that kept our team motivated from the moment the doors opened until they closed. At no time did we ever have to attract people to the stand – quite the reverse. On more than one occasion, people were queuing up to talk to us.”

Visual impact
The Intelligent Integration Zone delivered a real visual impact too. The centre stage was taken by a control room in which visitors could see how the partner products were integrated into one holistic front end platform

Each one of the six partners – Detection Technologies, ACT, Visimetrics, Red Box Recorders, Cronapress and COE – had their own dedicated pod on the zone.

“What has made our attendance at IFSEC so worthwhile is the fact that the initial interest from visitors is now translating into tangible results,” Smith said.

“So far we’ve had several meetings in the UK and Ireland, each one the result of an initial conversation at The Intelligent Integration Zone.

“We’ve also had dozens of phone calls from visitors and thousands of hits on our website. It’s no exaggeration to say that the level of qualified post-show interest has been exceptional.

“We’ve already quoted for a new control room and another visitor from Denmark has signed up as a distributor. It’s now a case of “watch this space”, because with the launch of Genesys 2 scheduled for January 2011, next year’s Intelligent Integration Zone is going to be even better.”
