IFSEC Global: Could you tell us a bit about what your product(s) do?

Katerina Ryan: NumberOK licence plate recognition software opens the door to top-tier number plate recognition at an affordable price.

Technology for licence plate recognition is no longer the privilege of large, capital intensive companies. NumberOK diversifies itself by focusing on the availability for every user, without compromising on quality.

The system broadens the use of licence plate recognition by providing solutions for every situation. Explore the various functionalities of the system, including the ability to calculate the amount of entered cars, register regular customers, define the most popular time of visiting, explain any deficiency or define failure of plan performance.

The retrieved results are extremely accurate due to the commitment to defining and solving the challenges that matter most to the end users. NumberOK is a magnificent system for security purposes, marketing research, monitoring cash flow or researching how income depends on number of entering cars.

IG: How did you get the idea?

KR: The program is a development and intellectual property of the company. The development process preceded the full market  research of security markets in the  CIS and the European Union. Based on the long-term experience in the development of video surveillance systems, it was decided to use this experience for creating the number plate recognition system.

IG: Which kind of customers will be interested in this product?

KR: Our software can be used for a very wide range of solutions. Our current customers include

checkpoints at the factories, parkings, car washes, residential compounds, safe cities applications for police use, service stations and control of cargo transport. But this list can be of course continued.

IG: Why is it innovative? What does it do that no other product does?

KR: Our team has developed new methods and algorithms that are different from the existing ones. We are able to reach very high speed and accuracy of recognition.

For example, our innovative detector  takes 10 milliseconds to scan all possible symbols that look like numbers plates signs and recognize only the ones related to the number plate number.  We have included business logics for the main types of customers like the carwash, parkings, safe city…

The other benefits include the ease of use and the flexibility – our software can be used with any camera and any PC and can be integrated with the third party software within short time.

IG: Are you visiting IFSEC? If so,  what are your plans or expectations from the show?

KR: We are exhibiting for the second time at IFSEC and presenting the 3rd release of NumberOK software, which introduces even more features than the previous releases.

We are looking for new distributors, integrators and OEM partners in the UK and internationally.
