The Wigan-based guarding firm rose from joint 13th to 9th after acquiring MJF Security in January and Sunwin Managed Security from Cardtronics Inc earlier this month. The two acquisitions have almost doubled the company’s turnover by £24.5m to £50m.
Established in 1993 with just seven security officers Kingdom has become a major specialist in mobile patrol, alarm response, cleaning and environmental protection.
The Infologue.com Top 30 encompasses the following security services: guarding, cash and valuables in transit, close protection, door supervision, public space surveillance (CCTV), security guarding and key holding.
Representing 92.42% of the entire regulated sector the annual turnover of the top 30 amounts to £2.953bn.
