RISCO Group Updates iRISCO App and Launches Installer App for Enhanced Revenue Control

iriscoRISCO Group has launched an upgraded version of the iRISCO Smartphone App and a new, customisable app for installers called FreeControl.

The v4.2.2 incarnation of iRISCO can control up to 15 panels and be navigated during alarms without the need to re-arm or disarm the system. Users can also zoom in on images and video, resize them to fit the screen and rotate them to landscape mode.

The RISCO Group, which provides integrated security solutions in a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential applications around the world, says FreeControl offers installers a number of practical, operational and commercial benefits.

Installers can customise systems control and tailor the functionality and appearance of the App for any bespoke use.

Profiles, for instance, can be customised to select which paid-for services customers have permission to access. Called User Profile Management this function grants the installer the means to monetise their offering, whether setting and unsetting, visual verification, home automation and so on.

This feature is intended to help installers protect revenue streams and grant them the flexibility to manage the enhanced functionality provided by RISCO Cloud services to upgrade a basic panel installation.

Installation companies can also customise the FreeControl App’s appearance, incorporating their own logo and changing the colour scheme to reflect their own corporate branding (see RISCO T&Cs for terms of use).

Once FreeControl is set up – which RISCO Group says is quick and easy – every RISCO Cloud-connected panel automatically replicates the individual default settings into the FreeControl Apps associated to that specific system.
