Swedish law enforcement agencies installed with OmniPerception biometrics

The CheckPoint access control face recognition system was chosen by Pejab, a Swedish systems integrator.

Pejab has a number of clients that have a need for increased access security working areas like law enforcement agencies and retail. A trial is also currently being rolled out to the Swedish prison authorities.

Peter Johansson, managing director of Pejab, said: “We chose CheckPoint out of all the other solutions in the world because it is a more superior overall security system.”

“The unit is also light immune and works in any light – making it ideal for a whole host of different applications in different sectors from retail to law enforcement.

“We also liked the fact that OmniPerception maintains close links with the University of Surrey, because it means that OmniPerception is guaranteed the best minds in biometric solutions in the future.”

Stewart Hefferman, the CEO of OmniPerception said he was delighted that Checkpoint was proving a “great success in its use in the access control environment across a variety of sectors worldwide.”
