Video surveillance giant Hikvision will be exhibiting its latest technology at IFSEC International 2017.
The theme of the company’s stand (E800) will be on pioneering artificial intelligence technology for video surveillance.
The stand will feature the new Turbo 4.0 series, H.265+ codec and thermal cameras, among other innovations.
Visitors will get to see new advances in surveillance technology, including a new product and set of technologies emerging from the ‘deep learning’ trend within the wider IT industry.
Hikvision is taking part in the IFSEC conference. Andy Coles, Hikvision’s key account manager for the UK & Ireland, will join other industry figures on a panel discussion about the future of video surveillance, touching on artificial intelligence or deep learning and its use in vertical markets, and the importance of security ecosystems.
“Large events like IFSEC are important to us because they give us the chance to connect with our partners and customers. It’s also great to see what the industry as a whole is doing and to be part of its development into the future,” says Coles.
A Hikvision installer recently won a major retail contract in East London. Gallions Reach Shopping Park in Newham needed an upgrade for its dated and unreliable CCTV system. Impressed by installers Pacific Security the shopping centre opted for Turbo analogue equipment from the world’s largest surveillance brand by sales volume.
“We used a Hikvision DS-6900UDI decoder to provide HD 1080p images to two 42-inch and four 22-inch monitors,” said William Mesher of Pacific Security. “The operators are equipped with DS-1600KI touchscreen network keyboards, which allow them to view and manipulate images easily and intuitively. We’ve found that they are ideal for simplifying the operator’s tasks, and are able to be connected wirelessly if required.” Find out more about this case study.
IFSEC International takes place between 20-22 June 2017 at London ExCeL. You can find Hikvision Europe on stand E800. Get your free badge now.
