Amcrest offers Cost-Effective HD Upgrades through HD-CVI Technology

Amcrest Security Systems has announced to provide cost effective HD upgrades for outdated coax cable video surveillance systems through advanced HD-CVI technology.

Amcrest, provider of advanced video surveillance solutions has introduced a security kit that includes HD-CVI technology comprises of camera and DVR.

Aimed at the consumer market, the kit uses existing cable allowing longer transmission distances, higher resolution, better dependability, and a pain-free installation.

Chase Rhymes, COO for Foscam – the company that launched Amcrest and markets the systems on Amcrest.com and Amazon says, “For years the surveillance industry has had issues converting outdated coaxial cable (CCTV) systems to an HD platform. Finally we are able to do that for anyone wanting to experience the power of full-HD without paying absurd amounts of money. ”

  • The cameras come in two HD signal transfer resolutions; 720P and 1080P as well as a 960H version. Loaded with standard features, the Amcrest 4 Channel 960H comes with 800+TVL and the Amcrest HD 720P and 1080P are HD-CVI and can be 4 or 8 Channel.
  • All are IP66 indoor/outdoor heavy duty weatherproof cameras with signal distances that start at 98ft andAmcrest go to 1,640ft.
  • Single coax cable transmits video, audio and controls. Night vision and FOV goes up to 65ft IR-LED night vision, wide 75 degree viewing angle.
  • Continuous recording at high and low resolutions with motion detection can go for 30-50 days.
  • View and record in widescreen with remote viewing on iPhone, iPad and Android devices with included link app.
  • A USB backup feature is included and each kit comes with a one year US warranty and lifetime support.

“The high definition and remote access combined with smart DVR technology and the ability to run on existing coax cable allows people to upgrade at a fraction of the cost,” Rhymes stated.
