Borders & Infrastructure

A confluence of several trends has put border security and the protection of critical national infrastructure (CNI) right at the top of governmental priorities around the world.

From Cairo to Copenhagen, nowhere is insulated from the global terror threat, an incipient cyber war between states and enormous migration flows.

Borders and infrastructure encompasses central and local government, transport and utilities, sports stadia and events, logistics, border security and law enforcement and any other sectors critical to the functioning of a country’s economy or civil society.

The global market for perimeter security – a key component of protecting CNI – is estimated to be worth US$21bn by 2020, growing at 8% CAGR during 2015-2021, according to market research analysts Research and Markets.
