Pivot3 A&E Program to help architects and engineers deploy IoT and security infrastructure

Pivot3 has unveiled a suite of resources to help architects, engineers and consultants optimise specification of security, IoT and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

The Pivot3 Architect and Engineer (A&E) Program will provide support to specifiers and their clients when they plan, design, deploy and manage compute-and-storage infrastructure for video surveillance, analytics, access control, building management and other integrated systems.

Programme members will benefit from:

“Pivot3 understands the  needs of both the security and IT markets, as well as design and deployment challenges in each domain.” Ray Bernard, president and principal consultant, Ray Bernard Consulting Services

“Pivot3’s A&E program seeks to provide the advanced tools and enhanced support necessary to specify infrastructure solutions that serve as the backbone of intelligent environments,” said Ray Bernard, president and principal consultant of Ray Bernard Consulting Services (and one of our 2018 security thought leadership influencers).

“Pivot3 understands the specific needs of both the security and IT markets, as well as the design and deployment challenges in each domain. The company has the in-depth deployment experience needed in both to effectively support system designers and specifiers in all stages of design and deployment work.

“The team also understands the client perspectives and issues, and the IT-physical security collaboration dynamics. This new programme demonstrates Pivot3’s commitment to helping system designers access the expertise and tools needed to design enterprise-class, IT-proven solutions.”

The Austin, Texas-based company recently won a 2018 Global Security Exchange (GSX) Innovative Product Award for its video surveillance solution developed for deployments requiring 500TB of storage or more. The Pivot3 platform, which was launched earlier in the year, was commended for outperforming rival server and storage systems in terms of reliability, operational benefits and cost-effectiveness.

Said Mike Maddox, director of A&E programmes at Pivot3: “The availability of dedicated Pivot3 contacts and resources will help the A&E community consider, design and ultimately, deliver infrastructure solutions that ensure the performance resiliency, and scalability that their customers’ mission-critical environments demand. The Pivot3 A&E Program will provide the tools, insight and support necessary to achieve the successful design of enterprise-grade, IT-ready infrastructure solutions for a variety of applications and markets.”
