How to choose the right life safety system: Hochiki Europe reveals FIREX 2017 plans

Hochiki Europe will provide advice on how to choose the right life safety system in a range of environments at FIREX 2017.

Visitors to Europe’s largest annual fire show, which takes place between 20-22 June at ExCeL London, will also be introduced to Hochiki Europe’s innovative new water detection system.

Hochiki Europe’s stand will feature a seminar area in which experts will discuss recent revisions to emergency lighting legislation, overviews of the latest life safety technologies available and how they can be applied in different environments.

The life-safety systems specialist will provide product demonstrations of LEAKalarm, as well as its analogue addressable life safety platform, L@titude.

L@titude helps customers quickly locate and assess incidents in real time from any location. It is fully customisable thanks to addressable loop detection circuits, conventional detection circuits, relay cards and additional sounder outputs.

Also on display will be a new conventional detector, an EN54-23 approved base sounder beacon and the next generation of ESP intelligent sensors. These new sensors feature an integral short-circuit isolator (SCI) in the sensor itself, negating the need for SCI mounting bases.

Hochiki Europe’s extensive FIREscape family of emergency lighting solutions will appear too, including the new FIREscape lite standalone kits and the combined fire detection and emergency lighting system FIREscape+.

Intrinsically safe and SIL2 approved flame detectors, beam detectors and aspirating systems, as well as linear heat detection will be on display.

The Hochiki Europe team will be on hand throughout the show to offer guidance on the best use of each technology, and visitors are encouraged to speak to Hochiki Europe’s experts for application advice.

“FIREX International is an ideal opportunity to meet with industry stakeholders and discuss new ways to address key issues occurring in our sector,” said Paul Adams, marketing manager at Hochiki Europe.

“If you’re looking to hear from life safety experts on the latest trends and technologies, you should certainly visit our stand. We’re very proud of the product ranges we’ll be showcasing this year and looking forward to outlining the many benefits they offer for our customers.”
