This is the 6th edition of the Major Events Summit, bringing together the most influential stakeholders from past, current and future games, host organisations and key commercial suppliers involved in major sports events to knowledge share and collaborate. Taking place on the 7th-8th of July.
Background: This year they've decided to be different. MEI’s flagship Major Events Summit is to be transformed into a ‘Virtual Summit’. It will be produced by Global Event Production and supported by some of the leading event technology members of the MEI network. The aim is to make the Summit a truly transformational experience and will not be simply a “work around – one off” replacement to this iconic annual gathering. To reach a more global community where travel has routinely been a challenge for Sports Rights Holders as well as expert suppliers, this approach will be embedded in all future Summits.
WHY JOIN THEM?: This is a unique opportunity for you to be briefed on procurement and business development opportunities for future major sporting events from key stakeholder organisations by 2021 out to 2028 and will provide a live briefing (recorded so you have access to it at a later stage) on:
You will have the opportunity to network with fellow delegates who may be event organisers, or event suppliers who you may wish to collaborate with. You will also have the opportunity to visit virtual exhibition stands to understand the latest technology and innovations designed to mitigate risk, minimise cost and maximise revenues for fan engagement.
