London (23 May 2019) – Manything Pro, leaders in affordable, secure and reliable cloud video storage and remote surveillance, will be showcasing their latest features at stand IF1318 of IFSEC 2019. As an approved Hikvision technology partner, they’ll also be a partner on Hikvision’s stand IF1530.
The Manything Pro cloud solution is disrupting the professional security industry - with cloud storage plans starting at just £3.19 per camera per month, installers can now add cloud to their installations with plenty of room to add their own margin to generate a new source of recurring monthly revenue. “We’ve focused on getting our prices low to allow installers to make as much margin as possible,” explains James West, Manything Pro CEO & Co-Founder. “We’ve also developed a ready-made recurring payment platform to handle the monthly or annual subscription payments for them.”
As well as being affordable, the Manything Pro cloud platform is specifically engineered to be reliable in real-world network conditions. The software constantly monitors the bandwidth available and adjusts its behaviour accordingly to ensure video can always be sent to the cloud.
Until now, Manything Pro has been compatible with over 100 Hikvision IP cameras and a small selection of Hikvision recorders. At IFSEC, Manything Pro will be showcasing a new Cloud AdapterTM which broadens compatibility to the full Hikvision hardware range, with Axis, Dahua and broader ONVIF compatibility coming very soon. The Cloud AdapterTM is a small bridging device which makes it both easy and affordable to add cloud to new and legacy installs. Each device can cloud-enable up to 8 cameras or channels from a DVR/NVR simply by adding it to the local network. It also acts as an extra layer of security – the Cloud AdapterTM runs Manything Pro software which transmits video over encrypted TLS channels to the Manything Pro cloud, where video is stored using 256-bit encryption in EU-based AWS servers.
As well as via the user-friendly Manything Pro mobile app, Manything Pro end users can view their cameras remotely via the Manything Pro website on any web browser. Recent updates to this website viewer make it a simple, easy to use VMS – with no additional license fees to pay on top of the affordable cloud recording subscription. The user can view cameras across multiple sites, watch camera live feeds, playback and download the recorded cloud video events and remotely control the camera settings.
As well as these 2 recent enhancements, the Manything Pro team will be on hand to showcase a collection of other features added to the platform over the last few months. Including:
Manything, founded in 2012, stands for ‘monitor anything’ – the original Manything app was developed to turn old smartphones and tablets into sophisticated home monitoring cameras. At the end of 2016, the company moved into the professional security industry, with the introduction of Manything Pro. The platform has over 1 million users globally and monitors 25 years of footage every single day.
