Paxton has opened a state-of-the art facility that houses a training suite and its R&D departments.
The developer of IP access control, door entry and building intelligence systems can also use the venue to showcase its latest technologies.
Adjacent to its head office in Brighton, the 29,000-square foot Paxton Technology Centre is “a real statement of intent”, according to Paxton’s CEO Adam Stroud.
The centre will host many of Paxton’s free installer training sessions (although installers can still register for a free training workshop at other locations around the country). The training suite is a fully ‘connected’ space with a hospitality area in which installers can enjoy lunch and complimentary refreshments.
Designed on an open-plan model, the building has been modelled with collaboration and innovation in mind.

Paxton, which was ranked in the FT’s league table of the fastest-growing companies in Europe, has doubled its turnover every four years.

Paxton, whose products include Net2 and Paxton10, develops systems for the mid-market (such as education, healthcare, retail, leisure, commercial and public sector) and provides solutions suitable for a wide range of sites and requirements. At present, around 25,000 buildings are secured by Paxton globally each year and the company exports to over 60 countries worldwide.
