Watch: Fire and security apprentices, NSI and competition judge reflect on the Engineers of Tomorrow on IFSEC TV

In the video below, apprentices Craig Jude and Charlie McFarlane of fire and security installation firm EFT Systems talk about taking part in the Engineers of Tomorrow competition and how they got into the trade.

IFSEC International’s 19th annual ‘Engineers of Tomorrow’ contest pits more than 50 young engineers against each other in a 90-minute installation challenge taking place across three days at IFSEC 2017. Overall heat winners and their employers will be invited to the Security & Fire Excellence Awards, taking place in November.

Also speaking at IFSEC 2017 below, Richard Jenkins, CEO of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI), also championed the competition, which the NSI sponsors.

Gary Hurst, one of the judges for the Engineers of Tomorrow competition, also spoke to IFSEC TV.
