IDIS launches DirectIP and HD-TVI DirectCX cameras and recorders at IFSEC 2018

IDIS has launched a new range of cameras and recorders, pitching them as “price competitive” for “fast-fit and multi-site projects”.

DirectIP and HD-TVI DirectCX cameras and recorders, which were showcased at IFSEC 2018, are aimed at small to medium-sized businesses as well as retail and other multi-site installations.

South Korea’s largest surveillance manufacturer has introduced four- and eight-channel DirectIP and DirectCX recorders, with four-channel compact models that can be desktop or wall-mounted.

DirectIP NVRs (DR-1304PC/DR-1308P) are plug-and-play models with built-in PoE switches and up to 70Mbps throughput with 240ips viewing and recording. The DirectCX recorders (TR-1204C/TR-1208) can integrate with the IDIS range of HD-TVI cameras and support long transmission distances over coax cabling.  Both IP and HD-TVI recorders feature one-click network configuration to simplify multi-site rollouts.

New cameras include plug-and-play, full-HD IP dome and bullet cameras; three new HD-TVI IR domes and two bullets; and another two 5MP high-performance models.

“We have been working closely with our customers as we extend our range to cover even more applications,” said James Min, managing dDirector, IDIS Europe.  “This choice of cameras and recorders for simple and rapid installations adds to our technology suite and will be appreciated by everyone who loves working with IDIS technology.”

Customers can combine and operate analogue and IP through IDIS video management software, IDIS Center or IDIS Solution Suite.
