PACOM Systems, the provider of security and access control solutions, has launched a new hybrid control panel aimed at reducing the occurrence of false alarms.
The PACOM 8003 is a hybrid panel that enables advanced access control and EN Grade 3 intrusion detection across a range of applications, from simple two-door installations to campuses and multi-site estates.
It is built to comply with EN 50131 and BS8243 PD6662-2017 approvals and reduces false alarms by using alarm activation with video, audio and sequential alarm verification as well as confirming whether a police response is activated.
The hybrid PACOM 8003 delivers more scalability, power and flexibility than any other integrated control panel in its class.” Gavin O’Keeffe, global technical director, STANLEY Product & Technology
Gavin O’Keeffe, Global Technical Director at STANLEY Product & Technology, which owns, PACOM Systems, explained: “The PACOM 8003 can significantly improve return on investment through a security solution that has been carefully engineered to protect people, property and assets – while reducing false alarms.
