TexecomPro App gives installers remote access to news, technical information and installer forum

Texecom-registered installers can now use their mobile device to access an installer forum and access technical information about a product they’re working with by scanning its barcode.

Whether they’re in the office, at home or out on a job, installers can instantly access all the latest news and technical information they need to do their job via the TexecomPro App.

Everything they previously obtained via the website – like product information, manuals, guides, technical bulletins, news and training – is now available and formatted for viewing on mobile devices. Users can keep abreast of the latest Texecom news – such as product launches, software updates or how-to guides – through real-time updates and push notifications.

Texecom’s Forum gives installers the opportunity to seek the help and advice of more than 6,000 of their peers. And they can instantly generate a product’s technical information by scanning its QR code.

Information and documents they use regularly can be stored as favourites and easily accessed from a personalised, favourites menu.

Users can register for the Texecom Registered Installer Scheme through the TexecomPro app or Texecom’s website. They will then be sent login details that provide access to content that is exclusive to professional installers.

Find out more on the App website, on which several YouTube videos outline the app’s features and benefits.

Texecom’s product portfolio includes a range of security motion detectors, control equipment, perimeter protection devices, fire detectors, signaling devices and wireless peripherals.

The Halma-owned company incorporates Klaxon Signals, which develops audio-visual warning devices for the fire, industrial and mass notification markets.
