CSL Router upgraded with dual 4G WorldSIM for greater resilience

CSL has launched a new variant of its award-winning CSL Router.

The latest incarnation is supplied with two network-diverse 4G WorldSIMs: one that is active and another on standby to provide resilience.

Both single and dual-SIM options send data over 4G for an instantaneous, encrypted internet connection on sites where wired broadband is slow, unreliable or simply unavailable.

On both single and dual SIM variants, a single, static IP address permits remote access to the system without disruption IT infrastructure.

Already deployed in more than 4,000 installations since its 2018 launch, CSL Router provides instant connectivity for CCTV, HVAC, EAS, access control and payment terminals, among other building systems.

CSL Router won two major awards last year: Innovative Security Project of the Year at the British Security Awards and the PSI Premier Award for Software/Signalling Product of the Year.

“It is our ongoing commitment to provide installers with reliable solutions with even greater resilience and CSL Router with Dual 4G WorldSIM does exactly that,” said CSL sales director Rob Evans. “We’ve already had some great feedback following successful trials of the product and I am very excited to now launch this to the wider market.”

CSL provides secure connectivity for nearly one million M2M and IoT devices globally. Courtesy of partnerships with manufacturers, mobile network operators and alarm receiving centres, the company offers end-to-end connectivity solutions for security, fire, telecare and retail markets.
