MyOptex, a project layout application, has been designed to ‘drastically reduce’ the usual turnaround time for a custom layout.
Users can drag and drop to-scale detection patterns onto a picture of their site, using an interactive menu that holds Optex’s outdoor photobeams and passive infrared detectors.
“One of the problems that our customers faced was telling an anxious end-user that they would get back to them in a few days with a quote. With an iPad and MyOptex, our sales representatives can have a full layout and sample quote ready for a dealer or integrator before walking back to the customer’s office,” Adam McGuern, marketing manager at Optex, said.
