NSI Summit 2018

Private-public sector partnerships is the theme for NSI Summit 2018

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) has confirmed that the next NSI Summit will take place on 22 March 2018 at the Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham.

Now in its fifth year, the NSI Summit’s 2018 theme is called ‘Strengthening Partnerships’, which celebrates the contribution made by private-public sector partnerships to deliver improved security.

This one day event provides the opportunity for NSI-approved companies to meet and keep informed of latest industry developments, learn about electronic security advances as well as new developments in the guarding and fire safety sectors.

The conference programme has three concurrent elective content streams. The sessions will include a focus on sectors that have specific security guarding and fire safety needs. Sectors include retail and further education.

There will also be sessions featuring case studies of how the private sector is working closely with law enforcement.

Richard Jenkins, NSI’s chief executive, says: “This year we are extending a personal invitation to individuals from the guarding services and fire safety sectors as we broaden the content of the event to include all NSI-approved companies and industry stakeholders.”

The National Security Inspectorate (NSI) is certification body and counts the UK’s top security and fire safety providers amongst its clients.
