Whitepaper: Enhancing security, resilience and efficiency across a range of industries

Counter terror inevitably loomed large this year, but arguably the most noticeable trend topic-wise was the growing importance of cybersecurity – right across the supply chain.

Fully five of the top 10 articles across the year were about cybersecurity or the GDPR, the data protection law coming into force from May 2017 – and sure to be an even bigger topic in 2018.

Nevertheless, video surveillance in general – notably the latest trends and how-to advice – continues to generate huge interest. As does the ongoing skills crisis in fire and security engineering, including efforts to combat the problem, as well as that of the cowboy traders who continue to undermine standards in the sector.

Below are the most read articles month by month, as well as the most popular downloads and the top 10 most read articles of the year.
