SECON set to grow on 20th anniversary

SECON 2021, Asia’s leading integrated security exhibition, will be held from 10th to 12th of March 2021 in Hall 3-5 at KINTEX in Korea.

The event will be celebrating its 20th anniversary, having hosted its first event back in 2001. As testament to how the shown has grown in the region, this year the global security event is predicted to grow by 30% in exhibition space, with more than 450 leading security companies meeting with over 49,000 security professionals.

Originally set to take place in 2020, SECON has been rescheduled to March 2021 to ensure the health and safety of its exhibitors, sponsors, visitors and staff is protected in the wake of restrictions and uncertainties imposed by the global COVID-19 pandemic. Attendees can be assured that the SECON team is closely following the guidance of the Korean government to run a superb and safe event.

SECON-2020Korea’s security market is said to be the 2nd largest in Asia, and 7th largest in the world, allowing SECON to attract businesses and individuals from across the globe. Sectors set to be covered include:

  • Access Control
  • Biometrics Identity Solutions
  • Physical Security
  • Personal Information Protection
  • Cyber Security
  • Smart City Solutions
  • And more…

While continuing to be focused on building business for exhibitors and visitors, SECON will also serve as an ideal platform for sharing knowledge on key growth topics in the security industry. In particular, the fusion of AI, Cloud, Big data, and other Information and Communications Technology with security equipments/solutions and its effective application on sites will be actively discussed.
