Business development and customer support functions boosted by new appointments at Chiron and CBC

Chiron Security Communications – the manufacturer of IP alarm signalling systems IRIS and IRIS Touch – is beginning the New Year in confident mode by continuing to expand its operations.

The company has just confirmed two new senior appointments to its business development team, providing additional support to customers through 2011.

Marco van Kessel has joined as Benelux Zone manager based in Berghem. He brings a wealth of experience to the role from years spent in both the security distribution business and working with monitoring centres across the Benelux territory.

van Kessel is described as having “a good depth of knowledge” and “outstanding technical and commercial skills”.

He can be contacted on his mobile (+31 654 24 65 11) or via e-mail at: mvankessel@chironsc.com

Meanwhile, in the UK Claire Brown joins as business development manager after many years in the telecomms and IT business development arenas.

Brown has been brought in to focus on key account development while also supporting Chiron’s growing customer base in the UK.

She’ll be based out of East Midlands and, of course, the Reading Head Office.

Claire can be contacted on her mobile (+44 (0)7792 739216) and via e-mail at: claire.brown@chironsc.com

Customer support manager’s role

Meantime, leading surveillance solutions provider CBC (Europe) has created a new customer support manager role, in turn providing a dedicated one-stop link between its customers and a wide range of support functions.

The move ensures that buyers (including installers, end users and consultants) of CBC brands such as Ganz and Computar will continue to receive the best possible help with all their requirements, ranging from quotations through to order queries and technical questions.

To fill this new post CBC has recruited David Cooper, who brings wide-ranging customer support experience to the role.

“David’s appointment is yet further proof of our commitment to our customers,” said John Downie, national sales and marketing manager for CBC (Europe).

“He joins an industry-leading team at CBC which offers the highest standards of service, delivers great solutions and provides outstanding levels of technical expertise.”
