Collier and Davies strengthen team at Ward Security

Collier joins the company having recently retired from Kent Police after serving for 30 years. Upon his retirement, he had reached the rank of detective inspector and had received four Certificates of Merit along with a Long Service and Good Conduct Medal.

In his new role, Collier will be responsible for leading and directing the operations managers within Ward Security. He’ll be tasked with making sure that all client reporting methodologies and reports are produced in a timely manner and will identify areas of Best Practice.

Similarly, Collier will also be responsible for producing action plans for remedial areas as and when necessary.

He will form a strong link between the operations managers and the senior management team, and will be actively involved in the strategic operational management of the company’s portfolio.

20 years of experience

Meanwhile, Carl Davies joins the company as systems supervisor armed with more than 20 years’ experience in the security sector. He’ll be directly responsible for overseeing security systems installations.

After a nine-year career in the Armed Forces, Davies worked on various roles from static guarding to the security management of passenger AMSA restricted ports, the latter involving passenger, baggage and vehicle searching and ship security.

As a customer service manager, he was responsible for identifying areas of improvement. He subsequently qualified as a Port Facilities Security Officer, ensuring port facilities met Government legislation relating to security and terrorist threats.

Most recently, Davies held the role of data controller responsible for on-site CCTV encompasing surveillance operation, recording, back-ups and preparation of evidential footage for various agencies in accordance with Codes of Practice. He was also in charge of access control solutions.

“Within my new role at Ward Security, I’m looking to enhance the great customer service already given by maintaining contact with customers,” stressed Christian Collier. “This will involve visiting operational environments, conducting surveys to ensure Best Practices are maintained and ensuring we are giving the best service to our customers.”
