The ID3000-based system, fitted by Trinity Protection Systems in conjunction with Mitie Engineering, has been linked to a voice alarm and public address system.
It has been designed to provide full fire protection for the home of rugby union team Exeter Chiefs, as well as the site’s conference centre.
Trinity also installed the fire detection system at a new David Lloyd Health and Fitness Centre at the site.
Trinity chairman, Dave Bartlett, said: “The highly flexible and intuitive Notifier system is ideally designed to provide protection for such a multi-function facility, including huge crowds at the Chiefs’ home games, conference delegates and the large number of staff involved in manning these events, many of whom are temporary.”
