IFSEC 2010: GJD to bring new products to the table

From 10 -13 May, the company will display a range of external movement detectors, lighting controllers and ancillary security equipment at Birmingham’s NEC.

Products to be launched include the D-Tect MX100, or the ‘Rock,’ is a long range external PIR detector with a 100 metre detection range and three programmable detection zones which also incorporates creep and anti-masking technology. This detector is a new addition to GJD’s range of D-Tect movement detectors, combining state-of-the-art advanced signal processing and optical systems.

A spokesman for GJD said: “These new technologies raise detection sensitivity, anti-vandalism and anti-masking to a new level making the D-Tect MX100 the preferred option for the protection of large properties and long perimeters by minimising the potential for nuisance alarms, enabling response centres to deal with genuine threats.”

GJD’s new digital communication range detectors uses the latest Stopbus technology, enabling wired and wireless detectors to communicate and interconnect using standard 485 cabling.

The company has also developed a retro-fit tilt sensor that enables third party equipment to comply with the latest BS8418 standard which requires all security devices to be monitored for tampering, for example, any movement away from their pre-set position.

Visitors can also see GJD’s 3DMLI access control system and a new autodialler. For more information, visit GJD’s site.
