In addition to intruder, fire and CCTV system monitoring, the new facility located in Oxford is able to provide a wide range of other monitoring services including asset and vehicle tracking, lone worker protection, security guarding service management and a 24-hour support desk.
“We are naturally delighted that our new Monitoring and Response Centre has been awarded NSI Gold accreditation,” said Andy Perry, director of Unipart Security’s Electronic Solutions division.
“We’re extremely proud of our superb new facility which equips all our operators with the means to monitor any of our clients’ premises and, if necessary, deal with any incident, regardless of whether the system at the protected premises is analogue or IP network-based.”
The Monitoring and Response Centre is staffed by highly trained operators, all of whom share a passion for security and a unique way of working – The Unipart Way – which engages staff in working towards world class performance and embeds a culture of continuous improvement.
Search for continual improvement
“Unipart Security’s philosophy of looking for continual improvement in the way we service each and every contract is key to what distinguishes us from other ARCs and RVRCs offering similar services,” said Les Ramsden, sales manager for the Monitoring and Response Centre.
“We all know, for example, that false alarms can potentially be a problem for any site, but it’s the way we proactively deal with these kind of issues, using creative problem solving processes and visual management techniques, which allows us to offer the very highest levels of service.”
The Monitoring and Response Centre replaces an older facility located at the Unipart Group’s head office which was set up five years ago to provide monitoring services solely for the Group’s sites.
“NSI Gold accreditation, combined with the experience and knowledge we have acquired over the last five years, places us in a very strong position to be the first choice for clients looking for a dependable, ‘one stop shop’ for all their monitoring requirements,” added Ramsden.
