Scandinavian fire detection and security systems organisation Pelco Nordic has launched its products into the UK market, promising to help deliver improved protection for premises.
The Pelco fire detection system uses a modular design which is said to offer around the clock feedback to security and safety staff. With a specialisation in integration of systems, Pelco says it is able to combine fire detection, intruder detection, access control, and video monitoring into a single entity.
“Launching the Pelco fire detection system in the UK paves the way to a new market area for Pelco Nordic, multiplies its potential customer base and thus provides the company with significant growth opportunities. LPCB listing offers great potential for building Pelco Nordic into an even stronger supplier of security system,” says Bruno Falk, export manager of Pelco Nordic.
Working from its base in Finland, Pelco now exports to 20 countries, employing around 220 people and generating net sales of 53 million euros in 2007.
