Consistently breaking new ground

Now in their twelfth year, the Security Excellence Awards have consistently broken new ground in highlighting the very best people, projects and processes the UK security industry has to offer.

Every October, close on 1,000 of the industry’s foremost practitioners gather at London’s prestigious Hilton Hotel on Park Lane to recognise and celebrate the magnificent achievements of their peers in the security management, installation, consultancy or manufacturing sub-sectors.

This fabulous black tie event has rightly become recognised as the Oscars of the security business sector.

Organised by United Business Media and hosted by Security Management Today Online and info4security, the Security Excellence Awards also represent the biggest single networking opportunity for anyone who’s serious about this fantastic industry of ours and its continual betterment.

Last year, the stage was graced by the legendary Ronnie Corbett. Indeed, over the years we’ve had seminal speeches delivered by Security Industry Authority chief executives and chairmen and security ministers direct from the Home Office.

His Royal Highness Prince Charles, The Prince of Wales and Home Secretaries have also graced the Book of the Night with Forewords supporting our gargantuan efforts to see security recognised for what it rightly is – a genuine profession.

Not only do the awards provide great networking opportunities, the evening is also a tremendous social occasion. The food and wines are always of the highest calibre, and there’s always plenty of lively entertainment into the small hours (with a Charity Casino and other money-raising activities for worthy causes).
