IFSEC is 35 years old this year, having come a long way from a basement of a Park Lane Hotel in 1973.
Now IFSEC is widely recognised as the UK’s leading security exhibition and fills seven halls of the NEC each May.
To celebrate this milestone the IFSEC team are researching the show’s history and are keen to hear from anyone who attended the first show.

IFSEC this year will return to the NEC, Birmingham from 12 – 15 May and anyone who attended the first show will be invited for a celebratory drinks reception.
