Vanderbilt releases SPC Connect 2.4

Vanderbilt has announced the release of the latest version of SPC Connect, the hosted, cloud-based solution through which installers can monitor, manage, and maintain SPC panels remotely.

SPC Connect 2.4, which arrives four months after the last SPC Connect update, introduces push notifications, local user management and alarm verification.

The new push notifications for IOS devices provide users with updates even when the app is closed. Users can also add new accounts through the server, import lists of multiple users, and automatically register multiple accounts at any given time, thanks to new local user management features.

“SPC Connect is designed to enhance the installer’s ability to configure their systems remotely and, with user management enhancements, SPC Connect speeds up the process of adding and configuring users,” says John O’Donnell, product manager at Vanderbilt.

“It means that the system administrator can now quickly configure users to have access to their SPC system, while simultaneously saving them time and money.

“SPC is one of the best intrusion detection solutions on the market for system user requirements. The speed and delivery of these latest features to market are proof of our commitment to providing customers with a stable and established security system that offers whole market scalability and future-proof guarantee.”
