Vodafone enters security sector with Netgear security camera integration

Customers on a Vodafone network can now benefit from V-Camera security to provide security for the home, remotely and with no Wi-Fi.

Netgear’s Arlo Go is a new live HD security camera, which is connected to the Vodafone network with a V-Sim from the mobile network provider.

For £339 upfront followed by a £4/month service fee, the 4G device allows customers to monitor valuables and assets both inside and outside the home, without the need for wires or Wi-Fi.

The Netgear Arlo Go sends instant, customisable alerts straight to you’re the users smartphone, tablet or email whenever movement is detected.

With night-vision functionality and a fully weatherproof design, the system works night and day, in any weather.

Arlo Go is part of the new V by Vodafone range of connected devices, allowing customers to track and monitor almost anything, such as cars, pets and belongings while they are away from home or off the premises.
