Video: The Physical Perimeter Security Zone at IFSEC 2016

The perimeter security market will be worth an astonishing $20,250.6m by 2020 according to forecasts, due to the ever-increasing number of intrusions and the growing threat of terrorism.

So for the first time IFSEC 2016 featured an area dedicated to this growth area. Watch our round-up video of the Physical Perimeter Security Zone below.

The video features footage of access control and door entry products, physical barriers, sliding gate motors, reinforced doors and street furniture. There are comments from Townscape, which develops hostile vehicle mitigation products; EasyGates, a distributor of access control, safety and gate automation products; CAME BPT, which produces vandal-resistant audio-visual door entry systems; Marshalls, a specialist in bollards and other street furniture; and gate automation company DEA Systems.

In 2015 visitors to the show were requesting to see more of the options available, so this time IFSEC gave the sector 1,000m of floorspace.

Other exhibitors included Geoquip, Frontier Pitts, Squire and EasyGates.

Below are five videos from some of the exhibitors in the Perimeter Protection Zone.
