Gareth Ellams, managing director of the access control division at ASSA ABLOY, told IFSEC TV about the company’s range of products, for commercial and residential sectors.
Formed in 1994 from a de-merger of ASSA AB and guarding giant Securitas AB, the ASSA ABLOY Group is the world’s largest lock manufacturer by sales volume. The Swedish conglomerate acquired the second part of its moniker when Finnish lock manufacturer Abloy Oy was brought into the ASSA stable shortly afterwards.
