TechTalks-TractionGuest-20

Traction Guest: Visitor Management Platform

During Traction Guest’s session, Declan Redmond and Ryan Canby take viewers through the company’s visitor management platform. Ryan provides a demonstration of the visitor experience, from initial booking to how they use the system when they arrive. Following this, he explains the system from a user’s point of view, illustrating how to register guests, update their permissions, and contact them if any problems occur during the visit.

The system allows for a personalised visitor profile, with unique QR codes and emails sent to visitors before arrival to ensure a seamless entry system and improve visitor security processes. Ryan also shows viewers the various settings and customisable options users can opt for. Finally, Declan runs through the Frontline mobile app, the latest solution from Traction Guest, allowing users to audit guest books, run roll calls for emergency situations, and remotely sign guests in to a premises.

Questions during the live Q&A session included:

  • Why is a seamless visitor management process so important for security?
  • Will COVID be a driver for pushing the use of mobile for visitor management systems, or general access control?
  • Can users control the access level that staff would have within the system?
  • Can users create invite links that can be shared if the specific person/visitor isn’t necessarily known?
