The WJ-NV200 has been designed to operate like an analogue DVR when stand alone. When networked, multiple WJ-NV200s are able to operate together to make a mini-system, CCTV Center said.
It has been configured from the front using a monitor and USB mouse, operate “exactly like an analogue DVR” but allow integrators to offer “an advanced IP CCTV solution.”
The NVR is the latest addition to Panasonic’s i-PRO SmartHD IP CCTV range.
Functionality includes HD real-time recording with smart analytics capability, including facial detection. Features such as “no PC required” configuration, automatic camera detection and set-up with no licensing requirements have also been added.
Providing training and support
CCTV Center is providing training, system design, pre-configuration and commissioning support.
Further features of the WJ-NV200 include H.264 compression, MPEG-4 and JPEG multi-format; up to 16 cameras and mouse operation and calculating available HDD capacity. It also has an “eco-friendly” LCD monitor control made to that reduce power consumption by at least 30%; audio record and play back; and multi-recorder, multi-site system configuration with optional i-PRO Management Software.
