Panasonic Business unveiled its Video Insight 7 VMS platform for the first time at IFSEC 2018.
The latest version of the Video Insight platform, said the company, offers enhanced performance and stability, greater scalability and zero ongoing licence fees.
Developed on an open platform it supports more than 4,000 camera models from over 150 camera manufacturers.
Used in conjunction with Panasonic cameras, VI technology eliminates ongoing licence fees and Panasonic Business claims a lower total cost of ownership (TCO) than any other enterprise VMS systems.

The 64-bit platform allows for unlimited client workstations, centralised administration and simple integration with legacy systems.
Users can monitor cameras remotely on various operating systems including Windows, Mac, web browsers, iOS and Android.
“Video Insight 7 is aimed at making the entire video management suite more intuitive, more powerful and easier to use, whilst being compatible with Panasonic’s cybersecurity technologies,” said Gerard Figols, European product marketing manager at Panasonic.
“Panasonic is the only manufacturer with this end-to-end combination of camera and licence-free VMS, breaking the mould in terms of total cost of ownership and virtually eliminating OPEX costs.”
Panasonic also unveiled a ground-breaking quad 4K multi-sensor camera and its new deep learning facial recognition technology at IFSEC 2018.
