Sectors/verticals: Ports, borders, critical national infrastructure (CNI), safe city projects and military bases.
Features:
- Detects objects at a distance of up to 35km
- Can categorise them at 15km and identify them at 5km using the Johnson Criteria, which was developed by the US military for evidential surveillance and is now used as a performance benchmark for civilian and military optical surveillance
- HD-SDI colour image clarity based on a 120x optical zoom lens.
- In-camera processing exploits corrective modes for optimal performance in fog, mist and other adverse weather conditions
- Multiple cooling systems to stabilise temperatures
- Premium IR cut filter for enhanced night and low-light performance.
- Optional laser IR illuminator extends capability further still allowing round-the-clock surveillance in all lighting conditions
- EMCCD and SWIR versions available for covert military applications
- Pan/tilt head with anti-backlash gearing, variable speed and high resolution preset recall for absolute positioning to +/-0.015 degrees, surpassing all off-the-shelf pan and tilt units currently on the commercial market. Suited to, for example, border perimeters where the camera must regularly observe checkpoints or points of vulnerability that might be 40km away. Even being just a degree or two out can result in a missed target, so preset recall is an essential feature
- Incorporates overview camera so an operator’s colleagues can provide general spatial awareness and coordinates such as the location of the small distant target in relation to a large landmark.
- Modular design comprising three parts weighing less than 20kg each aids rapid deployment as well as in-field support
- Operator can track a target across both the main and overview cameras using joystick control
Installers/integrators: An OEM package is available for system integrators as well as a bespoke modification service for special applications and projects.
Availability: Available in HD-SDI, analogue or IP versions the LR325k is already available to order. Can be custom-painted to suit any environment or application. Evve Surveillance is planning to extend the range to includeshort wavelength IR (SWIR) and electron-multiplying (EMCCD) sensor versions soon.
