Artificial intelligence is a soaring trend in the surveillance industry. Uri commented that: “AI is the future of video surveillance, we are seeing more devices become smarter”.

Adapting to the popular trend, Hanwha has developed a new AI device to better its service in public areas such as airports and shopping malls. “We are introducing a new AI camera that will provide a platform for our partners to develop various sophisticated AI solutions based on video”.

During the interview, Uri also goes through some of the products and models Hanwha provides. This includes the P-series, a sophisticated camera line that supports 4K resolution and can facilitate multi-directional cameras, including 3-4 lens models. The X-series offers video and sound analytics and a wide dynamic range of 150db.

Uri also spoke about how keeping its partners included in the development process is crucial to their ethos. “We work closely with our technology partners, we share with them our roadmaps and our plans, also workshops that work on maximising the opportunity that new technology provides us,” he said.
