Bosch says it will start offering delivery of bespoke equipment racks to customers with EN 54-16 compliant voice alarm systems.
The complete, fully certified racks will be built to client specifications.
With demand for EN 54-16 compliant voice alarm systems growing in the UK and Ireland, Bosch is pitching the service as ideal for companies with an occasional need to supply EN 54-16 compliant systems.
Regular providers of EN 54-16 compliant systems could also use the service to increase overall capacity, says Bosch in a press release.
The new service is available across Bosch’s full portfolio of voice alarm systems. These include the fully digital Praesideo Public Address and Emergency Sound system, which is aimed at enterprise-class public address and voice alarm applications; the PAVIRO Public Address and Voice Evacuation system, for small- to mid-sized systems; and the Plena Voice Alarm System (VAS), which is suitable for small projects.
The service is available via Audomation Software Ltd. David Howe, managing director and founder of Audomation, is a former employee of the Bosch Security Systems professional audio division.
“I am delighted that we can work with Bosch to offer this great new service,” said Howe.
“Audomation’s attention to detail will ensure that those using the service get a first-class rack built, accompanied by all the necessary manuals and certificates. We also have the capabilities to add any bespoke components that may be required, such as specialist microphones and other accessories.
“Additional services such as onsite commissioning, training and checking of sound pressure levels once the system is installed are available on request.”
