FIM Expo Heads to Newmarket Racecourse

fim expoThe next edition of the Fire Industry Manufacturers’ (FIM) Expo will take place at the Rowley Mile Racecourse in Newmarket.

Scheduled for Wednesday 14 October the event will once again showcase the latest products and developments in fire detection and alarms courtesy of the industry’s leading manufacturers.

The FIM Expo, which is organised by the Fire Industry Association (FIA), will feature around 20 exhibitors and should appeal to installers and maintainers, managers as well as architects and specifiers of fire detection and alarm systems.

A road-show that travels around the UK the expo also serves as a networking opportunity for fire-safety professionals across the supply chain.

There will also be two seminars at the iconic racecourse. A talk in on False Alarm Reduction in Detection Systems will give anyone involved in the process of design, maintaining and installing fire detection systems an insight into the problems caused by false alarms and how to avoid them. The second seminar will cover Visual Alarm Devices & BS EN 54-23.

FIM Expo is open from 9am until 4pm on Wednesday 14 October and is free to attend. Click here to register.
