Firestop Documentation Manager CFS-DM

CFS-DM Firestop Documentation Manager is pitched at customers who “want  a simple, easy and compliant method of documenting, tracking and maintaining the firestop integrity of” their projects. They can plan and document every stage of an entire firestop project in three simple steps.

Cloud-based it can be accessed collaboratively by all stakeholders, including architects, planners, specifiers, installers, building owners and authorities. Reports can be produced on demand after installation, simplifying building acceptance inspections and making maintenance more efficient.

Collaborative teams can prepare the entire installation in advance, thanks to the software’s multi-user feature. Firestop products are selected, locations marked and responsibility for installation assigned.

Each firestop seal is marked with a label carrying a QR code and recorded in the CFS-DM system with a smartphone, tablet or other mobile device.

The installation can be documented immediately, including with photos, using a mobile device.

Compliance data for each firestop seal can be viewed online by architects, planners, specifiers, installers, building owners and authorities.

Firestop cast-in device CFS-CID

Firestop cast-in devices offer a more cost-effective alternative to traditional methods of shuttering or breaking/coring after the concrete is poured. A one-step installation means less labour and coordination between trades who are sometimes on site days or weeks apart.

The CFS-CID boasts an upgraded design and smaller footprint, which means pipes can be installed closer together.

Notches on the base edges allow for easy alignment. A new thread on the lid also allows for both a secure connection – to prevent water ingress or trip hazards – and a modular design for accessories such as a manifold adapter and extensions.

You can add an extra 150mm to the cast-in device’s height when thicker slabs are involved.
