IFSEC and FIREX 2014 is launching live-event broadcasting channels at London’s ExCeL between 17-19 June.
Featuring live interviews with major figures from the fire and security sectors IFSEC TV, which is sponsored by Xtralis, and FIREX TV, whose sponsor is C-TEC, will broadcast via multiple large screens and plasmas strategically located around the exhibition halls.
Live television camera crews will roam the show floor interviewing visitors, speakers and exhibitors.
Dedicated TV studios will be host to additional interviews with some of the industry’s biggest names.
The broadcasts will be screened simultaneously in IFSEC and FIREX and streamed over IFSECGlobal.com, IFSEC.co.uk and FIREX.co.uk.
IFSEC and FIREX event director Gerry Dunphy said: “We’re really excited about the undoubted potential live television will bring to this year’s shows.
“It has become a proven addition to major exhibitions as we have already used live broadcasting at other UBM events and the results were seismic.
“For exhibitors it’s a major opportunity to actively broadcast their services to the whole audience and for visitors it’s a marvellous way for them to obtain relevant information, regardless of where they are in the halls.
“There’s a massive focus on the overall experience at ExCeL this year and IFSEC TV and FIREX TV are major contributors.’’
