From frictionless access control to 360-degree thermal imaging, here’s a tantalising foretaste of the innovation on show at London’s ExCeL this June.
MorphoWave by Morpho
What is it? “MorphoWave provides access control with a wave of the hand – secure, frictionless access. Users can gain access quickly without having to break gait.
How is it innovative? MorphoWave is the World first biometric access solution capturing 4 fingerprints with a single hand movement. It implements a patented, truly contactless technology that not only acquires extremely accurate fingerprint data but also overcomes the challenges wet/dry fingers and latent prints pose to conventional scanning systems.
The touchless acquisition capability provided by MorphoWave allows users to remain ‘on the move’ when passing through a control point, making it ideal for securing high traffic areas.

NICE Suspect Search by NICE Systems
What is it? “NICE Suspect Search is a patent-pending video analytics technology that can quickly locate and retrace the movements of a suspect, lost child, or other person of interestwithin a video surveillance network. Video footage from different cameras and time frames can be reviewed in just minutes, as the system automatically filters out 95% of irrelevant images. In addition to achieving faster response times, organisations are able to restore normal operations quicker following a security breach. Digitally stamped images, video, and related location information associated with each search can also easily be shared as part of a forensic investigation.”
How is it innovative? Moti Shabtai, General Manager, Physical Security, NICE Security Group, says: “NICE Suspect Search is the only solution on the market that enables a security operation to search for and find a specific person across multiple cameras and locations in a matter of minutes. The multiple awards this solution has won attests to the impact it has made. NICE is very proud to receive the industry recognition for Suspect Search through these awards, but even prouder of the technology’s ability to help organizations address their day-to-day challenges.”

MATRIX AIR by Dorma
What is it? “The centrepiece of the stand will be MATRIX AIR – the first electronic fitting that is as flat as a normal door fitting. In addition DORMA will showcase the integration of their electronic access control with their automatic doors. New doors include the ST – Flex Secure, a sliding door system with anti-intruder protection and the FFT – Flex Green, a folding door with energy saving profiles.”
How is it innovative? “The first electronic fitting that is as flat as a normal door fitting. This outstanding slender design has been made possible through ground breaking engineering; the technology is integrated in the lever handle rather than in the fitting itself.”
